This is our new addition for the DSD Computer Surfboard Shaping Machine (Brazilian CNC Machine). It was designed in line with Industry developments where Surfboard Machinists choose to interchange tools for the most effective CNC cuts. This design has a flatter radius on the tip which makes it ides for getting the perfect edge on bottom rails. Therefore this tool is recommended as a supplement to the standard Cutter Design above.

CUTTER HEAD DIMENSIONS: 1.19" (30.20mm) Diameter X 2.83" (71.50mm) Length.
RADIUS: 2mm approx.
SHAFT/SHANK DIMENSIONS: 1/2" Diameter X 1.5" (38.1mm) Length.

This cutter is also suited to any custom CNC Machine that takes A 1/2" Shank.

All Cutters designed by Shapers Australia® are precision machined (CNC Machined) using the highest quality material and coated with Super Grit®; the most effective coating available for surfboard manufacturing (Polyurethane foam and Polystyrene foam). All of Shapers Australia’s Cutters are dynamically balanced to ensure they are perfectly weighted and operate in the most efficient and effective manner.

Coated in Tungsten Carbide "Super Grit®" exclusive to Shapers Australia (also used on our Shapers Barrel). This grit is highly durable and does not rip or tear the foam; producing a cleaner/smoother finish whilst also generating minimal noise.

Unlike others forms of cutter methods, our grit does not require sharpening and is extremely long wearing (for more details refer to the Shapers Australia Barrel). Cutter Head is 54mm width x 20mm depth, which carves through the foam fast & effectively. Note standard shaft size is 75mm length x 13mm diameter. This product is used with our Profile machine and on many othe rmanula profile machine used around Australia and internationally.
