SURFBOARD EPOXY RESIN SYSTEM - KINETIX R104

Shapers Australia has teamed up with the Epoxy Experts to offer our customers a unique and professional Epoxy Surfboard Resin System.

KINETIX R104 is a rapid, room-temperature cure epoxy for surfboard lamination. The system cures to a clear, bloom-free finish that has excellent adhesion to polyester or polyurethane topcoats. If offers superior toughness, with a resistance to yellowing, and provides extended longevity with normal use. Through research and development with specialist chemists this product has been specifically formulated for surfboard production. After extensive research and development this product is now at the forefront of Resin Epoxy Systems for Surfboards and Surf Crafts.

NOTE: This Epoxy System is not a general purpose epoxy, it has been designed specifaclly for surfboard and watercraft production

SURFBOARD EPOXY PACK 30 LITRES		QTY:
This New Kinetix R104 Surfboard Laminating System provides a unique rapid room-temperature cure for Surfboard Lamination. It cures to a clear and bloom-free finish with the key benefit that Polyester Filler Coats can be utilised. Very strong, very light, highly durable. Formulated to have excellent resistance to yellowing, micro-cracking and high moisture resistance. This is a 30k litre pack, consisting of 20 litres of Epoxy Resin and 10 Litres of Hardener (H125). Good adhesion to polyester or polyurethane top coats, superior toughness, good clarity and excellent resistance to yellowing ensure lighter, stronger, more durable surfboards.

SCOTHBRITE WHITE PAD - SINGLE		QTY:
White Scotchbrite Scrubbing Pad. When applying additional epoxy coats, or coating with polyester resin or polyurethane topcoats, the cured epoxy should washed with warm water and a white scotchbrite pad to ensure good undercoat adhesion.

SCOTHBRITE WHITE PAD - 20 PACK		QTY:
White Scotchbrite Scrubbing Pad - 20 pack (volume discoutn rate). When applying additional epoxy coats, or coating with polyester resin or polyurethane topcoats, the cured epoxy should washed with warm water and a white scotchbrite pad to ensure good undercoat adhesion.

EPS FOAM SEALER 1 LITRE		QTY:
This Microsphere Blend is a low density filler used as a thickening agent used with Polyester and Epoxy Resin to create a lightweight filling putty that is used to seal the blank in preparation of glassing or for gap filling for surfboard repairs. Gap Filling: For Sealing Blanks: Provided in a powder form, Microsphere Blend is easily mixed with Epoxy Resin to form a white paste that is spread evenly over the EPS Blank. This is the same process as seen in the Epoxy 101 DVD. In effect this blend seals the foam, ensures an even surface and prevents any out-gassing that may occur when laminating.

Epoxy expert Greg Loehr teaches how to laminate using  Epoxy Resin and Hardener quickly and efficiently in Epoxy Glassing 101. This 2 hour program walks the viewer step by step through glassing using Greg’s Resin Research.net Epoxy Systems to make professional quality surfboards. Learn Greg’s tricks to save time and work safely with Epoxy Resin. He first glasses a Rocket Fish with color, and box fins. Greg teaches everything you need to know about Laminating, Hot Coating and Sanding. Next Greg Loehr  glasses a 6’2” clear board with glass on fins. All the steps are clearly shown and explained. Expect to be taught by one of the innovators of the Epoxy technology.
