GLASSING 101 DVD
Glassing 101 is the industry standard and only instructional film which teaches professional laminating, hotcoating and sanding.
Learn to fiberglass surfboards at the state of the art JC Hawaii surfboard factory. John Carper’s top notch tradesmen teach you step by step how to waterproof the board, glass on fins, leash plugs and sand the right way.
This program is hosted by John Carper and made by Carl Ackerman. A second Betacam was mounted on the ceiling giving the student a top view of laminating and hotcoating, making it easy to quickly learn techniques .

AIRBRUSHING 101 DVD
Airbrushing 101 is the final tape in the John Carper Trilogy on building surfboards and is the industry standard and only video available teaching surfboard graphics.
Learn to paint flames, sunbursts, and other advanced graphics. Airbrushing 101 teaches how to paint a board to look like Balsa wood called “Falsa” and also how to master the art of using paint pens.
Veteran airbrusher Wade Easterling previously of “Gerry Lopez Surfboards” teaches the viewer what airbrushes to use, how to use them and airbrush maintenance. The focus of this video is shortboard shaping although we did make sure to include many of the intermediate topics not covered in the first shaper video. This DVD has a much faster pace than the previous two but no less information. There is a lot of ground covered in this disk so it may take a few viewings to get it all down. In contrast to the original Master Shaper Series, this new addition focuses on the modern shortboard. Also included in this DVD is an in-depth look at wooden boards.
