SHAPERS EPS FOAM BLANKS
All Shapers EPS Blanks are classified as VH Foam Density (used under shapers CDT Compression Desisting Technology). 
There are several common density of EPS foam used in surfboards (M=Medium / H=Hard / VH= Very Hard), the lower the density the less resistance to pressure dings, preventing the board from snapping and over flexing. Therefore ,as Shapers policy of only using highest grade of materials, Shapers only uses HD Foam to ensure the blanks can be made in boards that last the longest time possible.

Benefit: 
Shapers VH EPS Blanks has a high strength-to-weight ratio and amazing compression stability, due to Compression Density Technology Shapers employee to produce the highest grade VH Foam possible. This technology prolongs the life of the blank (strength, flex and compression resistance).

Stringerless Blanks & Carbon “Parabolic” Rail:
Shapers supply all EPS Blanks as Stringerless Blanks. This is due to the benefits of unique flex patterns that stringerless surfboards provide, when combing Carbon to the rail of the surfboard; the Carbon Fibre acts as a frame and increases the responsiveness of the board, speed, drive, prevents twisting (keep the nature flex pattern of the foam blank) and provide a quicker surfboard (this technology is seen in such Shapers/Surfboards as: Firewire Surfboards, Hayden “Fibreflex Surfboards” and JR Surfboard 201 Technology.

Epoxy Laminating/Glassing
Shapers EPS Foam Blanks can only be laminated in Epoxy resin, if Polyester resin is used it will destroy the EPS foam blank. 
Shapers Supplies an industry leading Epoxy Resin System “Kinetix” that is UV Resistant, high resistants to cracking/delaminating/fracturing, Ultra Clear and an Ultra White, superior strength and has a natural flexural key pattern that is very similar to the natural flex patterns of surfboard blanks.
